Cariboo, northern B.C. under severe thunderstorm watch - Barriere North Thompson Star

Environment Canada is issuing a severe thunderstorm watch for the Cariboo region north of Quesnel. As of 7 p.m, June 19, the nation’s weather agency stated that conditions are “favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain.” Severe thunderstorm watches are capable of producing damaging hail, wind, or rain.
