Canada’s Navy Has an 11 Year Hole in Its Fleet Plan

HMC Ships Moncton and Nanaimo, Canada's last two Kingston-class coastal vessels, are scheduled to be paid off in 2028. The Continental Defence Corvette intended to succeed them is not expected to be operational until around 2039 on the Navy's own current planning. That leaves eleven years without the surface combatant meant to replace them.
