Duke F Cameron Boozer Declares for Nba Draft
The National Player of the Year averaged 22.5 points and 10.2 rebounds, and he is projected as a top-five pick.
On Friday, April 24, 2026, Duke freshman standout Cameron Boozer officially declared for the 2026 NBA Draft, ending his lone season in Durham.
Boozer dominated during his freshman campaign, averaging 22.5 points and 10.2 rebounds while shooting 55.6% from the field and 39.1% from deep.
Along with National Player of the Year honors, Boozer won the Wooden Award and was named a First-Team All American, leading Duke to a 35-3 record.
Projected as a top-3 pick, Boozer would be the 60th Duke player selected in the first round; his twin brother, Cayden Boozer, will return for his sophomore season.
This year's draft class is especially loaded with prospects like Kansas' Darryn Peterson, BYU's AJ Dybantsa, and North Carolina's Caleb Wilson, as Boozer hopes to follow his father, Carlos Boozer, into the NBA.
