Calian Partners with Ukrainian Tech and Defence Company SkyFall for Drone Training
SkyFall Academy has trained more than 30,000 Ukrainian military personnel as the companies develop programs for Canada, the UK and NATO allies.
- On Wednesday, Calian Group Ltd. and SkyFall announced a strategic partnership to advance unmanned systems training for Canada, the United Kingdom, and NATO allies.
- Drawing on more than 40 years of military training experience, Calian integrates its infrastructure with SkyFall Academy, certified by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence with specialized operational knowledge.
- Supporting global readiness, Calian has trained more than 300,000 personnel for the Canadian Armed Forces and the British Army; SkyFall Academy trained more than 30,000 Ukrainian military personnel over the past three years.
- Following a meeting last Thursday in Calgary, Alta., Prime Minister Mark Carney stated Canada will work with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to produce millions of drones for the Canadian military.
- These joint efforts aim to strengthen interoperability between Ukraine and NATO, supporting deeper integration of Ukrainian technological capabilities into the global defence ecosystem.
