Cadillac Boosts the 2026 CT5-V Blackwing's Power to New Heights, but You Probably Can't Buy One
Cadillac says the limited-edition sedan adds a supercharger upgrade and Precision package, and all 26 cars come with a six-speed manual.
Cadillac unveiled the limited-run CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series, a manual-only sedan celebrating the brand's Formula 1 debut with 685 horsepower across 26 total units.
To commemorate its inaugural Formula 1 season, the automaker upgraded the 6.2-liter V-8 engine, boosting output by 17 horsepower and 14 pound-feet of torque over the standard model.
Each unit features a Midnight Stone Frost exterior and Carbon Flash Metallic wheels, with the Precision Engineering Package standard, including carbon-ceramic brakes and track-tuned suspension.
General Motors President Mark Reuss described the vehicles as celebrating Cadillac's new racing era, with production beginning in summer 2026 and deliveries following shortly after.
This special edition signals Cadillac's strategic shift from traditional luxury toward high-performance vehicles, positioning the brand as a serious motorsports competitor.
