On Tuesday, Hungary's Foreign Minister Anita Orbán declared that ten Russian diplomats had been pursuing "unacceptable activities for diplomats under the Vienna Convention". Apparently, this meant espionage. Moscow has offered "hard and painful" countermeasures for expulsion. The state press sees the process as controversial.
