By a vote of 6-1, Alexandria School Board approves application to the Solar for Schools Grant Program

ALEXANDRIA — Some of the school buildings in Alexandria Public Schools may see the addition of solar panels in the future. At Monday night’s meeting on Aug. 17, the board approved the submission of a grant application to the Solar for Schools Grant Program for funding to support the installation of solar panels at the Carlos, Discovery, Garfield and Miltona schools.
