The organiser of the initiative confirmed that entrepreneurs in the sector will be received by the Minister of Infrastructure and Housing on Monday.
"We received contact from the office of the Minister of Infrastructure and Housing [Miguel Pinto Luz], yesterday [Friday], noting that he is attentive to our demands and after which a meeting was scheduled, for the next Monday, in Lisbon," he told Lusa Miguel Machado Mendes.
About 500 trucks from more than 100 land-planning companies are expected in a slow march of protest against rising fuel prices, starting from Lordelo to Coimbra. Entrepreneurs will meet with the Minister of Infrastructure and Housing next Monday.
About half a thousand heavy vehicles are expected in the slow march this Friday.
The land-planning sector entrepreneurs who today started a slow protest march against the price of fuels from Paredes, Porto district, will meet on Monday with the government, the representative of the protesters announced.
