After a first round marked by a push from the right, the negotiations intensified at the Métropole de Lyon. France urged environmentalists to join forces, while the refusal of Hélène Geoffroy's Socialist Party crystallised tensions. The outcome of the second round could depend on the realization of these alliances.
Despite the clear lead of Véronique Sarselli (Grand cœur Lyonnais) in the first round, the ecologist Bruno Bernard can still keep the Métropole de Lyon. Our calculations reveal a vote so tight that an absolute absence of majority is possible next Sunday. Will the RN play the king-maker?
