Pomeranian Gets Stuck in Baby Gate. Firefighters Free Him with 'Jaws of Life'
The rescue video drew millions of views after firefighters used spreaders to pry the gate open and free the 3-year-old Pomeranian.
Last week, Brevard County Fire Rescue used spreaders to free Odin, a 3-year-old Pomeranian, after his head became stuck in a baby gate at his Merritt Island home.
Owner Taeli Troumbly discovered Odin wedged in her hallway gate and called 911 after failing to free him herself.
"They got the Jaws of Life out, and I've never seen those in my life," Troumbly said, describing how firefighters pried the gate open.
Since posting a video of the ordeal on TikTok, Odin has become an internet sensation, receiving millions of views and appearing in national television interviews.
Reflecting on the incident, Troumbly stated, "No more baby gates in our household," adding that Odin "makes me laugh every day" and is a "really darn good dog.
