Oil prices rose by more than $4 per barrel on Thursday, following reports that the United States would send more troops and other aircraft to the Middle East, in conjunction with China ' s suspension of exports of petroleum products, raising concerns about the worsening global fuel shortage.

The price of the barrel of Brent for delivery in December skyrocketed this Thursday by 4.37 %, to be put at $102.31 at the close of London’s futures market after it became known that China has cancelled some shipments of petroleum products whose export was scheduled for October. Brent’s entry skyrockets more than 4%, up to 102 dollars, after China’s cessation of exports was first published in Digital Process.
