- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis invited Belgian investment to support the state's growth toward a $1-trillion economy, complementing the century-old diamond trade partnership valued at around $3.5 billion in 2025-26.
- De Wever criticized arbitrary trade barriers for inflicting "serious economic damage," while officials highlighted the relationship's focus on "three Ts": trade, technology, and talent as drivers of sustainable bilateral growth.
