Brazilian and U.S. officials spoke virtually on Monday to discuss tariffs imposed by the Trump administration, and agreed to hold further meetings at a later date, Brazil's industry and trade ministry said in a statement.
The Brazilian government has stated that it will continue to seek a mutually beneficial trade agreement with the United States, after a meeting between those responsible for negotiations to minimize the additional customs duties imposed by Washington in July.
