The polling stations in Brazil closed their doors on Sunday, after the voters voted in the first round of the presidential election, amid a close competition between President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Senator Fluffio Bolsonaro, the son of former President Jayer Paulonaro.
Around 159 million Brazilians were called on to vote. First results of the presidential election are expected at night - a tight race is indicated.
