- The Directing Staff determined Glanville had "over-rotated" during the backward dive, forcing her to enter the water face-first. She recalled the impact felt "like a baseball bat to my head," and she immediately knew something was wrong.
- Medical evaluations identified a bruised sternum, cracked rib, concussion, and perforated eardrum. A medic announced, "She's not gonna go on," leading to Glanville's immediate withdrawal from the course.
- Before the challenge, Glanville admitted she felt less than "hundred percent prepared" but wanted to prove her strength to sons Mason and Jake. She joined to overcome health struggles, including complications from 20-year-old breast implants.
- Unable to fly immediately due to her perforated eardrum, Glanville remained in Malaysia for three days. She continues recovering from her injuries while awaiting repairs to her breast implants.
