Brainerd firefighters respond to calls

BRAINERD — The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a small diesel heater fire in a garage at 12:49 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, on the 900 block of 11th Street. Fire Chief Tim Holmes said law enforcement arrived on scene first and were able to remove the heater. When fire crews arrived, they checked for fire spread.
