Bowling Green Public Works reports over 1,800 hours of work for snow, ice - WNKY News 40 Television

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Department of Public Works in Bowling Green has released data surrounding January’s response to winter weather. During January, Public Works says it worked a total of 1,817 hours for snow and ice responses. In addition, from Jan. 24-30, the city says crews used 984 tons of deicer, costing a total of $147,583.32. The city says 200 pounds of deicer was used per lane mile during that time.
