- CBSA officials issued 188 removal orders to date, with cases including Palwinder Singh, who was deported after connections to an extortion-related shooting in fall 2025 and criminal organization membership.
- Police report 139 extortions this year, including 21 shootings, while Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree stated the government remains committed to working with law enforcement to disrupt these networks.
- The agency employs 530 officers dedicated to immigration enforcement and plans to hire 1,000 more using $30.4 million allocated in the 2025 federal budget to expand enforcement capacity.
