Salmon Arm Woman Arrested After Pepperoni Theft Captured on Store Video: RCMP

Salmon Arm RCMP are seeking charges against two suspects for separate thefts in Aug. Police apprehended a man in a liquor store break-in and a woman for allegedly stealing pepperoni from a Hudson Avenue business.
On Aug 12, a witness reported seeing a man smash a liquor store window along Hwy. and steal two cases of Twisted Teas. The witness followed the suspect, enabling Police to arrest him in a nearby field.
Salmon Arm RCMP received a report on Aug 24 regarding a woman who allegedly stole pepperoni from a Hudson Avenue business. Const. Andrew Hodges noted the complainant provided video footage and a photo of the suspect.
While searching the woman for identification, Police recovered the stolen pepperoni. Const. Andrew Hodges confirmed the man was found with two cases of Twisted Teas, with charges forwarded to Prosecution for assessment.
Both the man and the woman were released from custody with future court dates pending. Charges remain under assessment by Prosecution as the investigation concludes.
