Singer Bonnie Tyler is recovering in Faro, Portugal, after undergoing emergency intestinal surgery at a hospital in the Algarve region.
Her official website confirmed the hospitalization, stating the surgery went well and Tyler is now recuperating with gratitude expressed for well wishes from family, friends, and fans.
Born Gaynor Sullivan in Skewen, Wales, Tyler has released more than 15 albums across five decades in the music industry and received an MBE in 2023.
