Bond proposal for new middle school passes

Lampasas ISD voters approved Proposition A — which funds a new middle school campus — but rejected the other two propositions in Saturday’s $139.6 million bond election. Other contested local election results saw Councilwoman Cathy Kuehne fend off a challenge from Bob Goodart for her Place 4 seat, while incumbent Courtney Duncan and newcomer Anthony Resa earned the two at-large seats on the Lometa ISD Board of Trustees.
