Just four days after the last bomb disposal operation at the construction site at the intersection of Grzybowska and Żelazna streets in Warsaw, more than 20 more unexploded ordnance were discovered, forcing another evacuation of residents and a suspension of traffic in the center of the capital.
Twenty-two unexploded ordnances were recovered at the Grzybowska and Żelazna Street reconstruction site in Warsaw. "The evacuation of two buildings was necessary," said Chief Superintendent Marta Sulowska of the Wola Police Department. Bomb disposal experts are still working at the scene.
In Warsaw, during construction work in the area of Wola, more than 20 unexploded munitions were found — people are being evacuated from two buildings due to the finds.
The municipal police building at 116 Dobrego Pasterza Street in Krakow has been evacuated due to the discovery of an unexploded ordnance.
