As part of an investigation conducted by the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, nine people were detained in an operation targeting the managers of the S.S. Köroğlu Regional Products Production and Marketing Cooperative and companies doing business with the cooperative. Searches were conducted at the homes and workplaces of those detained.
Details of the 'embezzlement' operation in which 9 people were detained against the municipal cooperative in Bolu have been revealed. The suspects were found to have messed up the tender by pretending to have previously installed second-hand mushroom tents as if they had just been bought and paid about 24 million lire out of place.
Striking details have emerged in the embezzlement investigation targeting the cooperative under the Bolu Municipality. It was determined that 21 mushroom cultivation tents, established and used in 2021, were falsely presented as newly purchased in 2023, resulting in approximately 24 million Turkish Lira in unjustified payments.
Nine people were detained in an operation conducted by the gendarmerie against a cooperative and company under the Bolu Municipality. Details of the investigation revealed that second-hand mushroom tents were presented as new in tenders, causing a loss of 23,922,000 TL to the public.
