LA PAZ, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Bolivia's Assembly extended a state of emergency for 90 days on Thursday, citing persistent risks that demonstrators protesting the government's policies could mount new road blockades disrupting supplies and economic activity.
On June 20, the centralist president Rodrigo Paz decreed the emergency measure, after 53 days of street demonstrations and roadblocks led by workers, indigenous people and peasants related to former President Evo Morales (2006-2019).
