Boil water notice in effect for Summerland

A boil water notice is in effect for the entire community of Summerland. The notice was posted on the municipal website and Facebook page on the morning of May 6. It urges people in the community not to consume tap water without boiling it first. Drinking water should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute before use. This includes drinking water, brushing teeth, washing fruits and vegetables and making ice, juice or baby formula. …
