Body found during search for missing partner of Mick Jagger's granddaughter
- On Sunday, Devon and Cornwall Police said officers and HM Coastguard were called around 6.30pm after a man’s body was found in the sea at Bude during the search for Alexander Key.
- After Mr Key went missing on Friday, January 23, police said CCTV images showed Alexander Key, 37-year-old chef, walking past the Wellington Pub toward Boscastle Harbour and the River Valency on January 24.
- With identification pending, authorities noted formal identification is yet to be carried out but officers believe the person to be 37-year-old Alexander Key, whose family thanked police and HM Coastguard and requested privacy.
- Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner; Key had two children with 33-year-old Assisi Jackson.
- The case drew national attention because Assisi Jackson is Mick Jagger's granddaughter and Jade Jagger shared the police appeal, while Key co-owned The Rocket Store in Boscastle amid storms Ingrid and Chandra.
