Body found at scene of residential fire in Red Deer

The body of a man was discovered at the scene of a fire at the supportive housing complex Amethyst House on Gaetz Avenue on May 1. Red Deer RCMP said police were called to the structure fire at 1 p.m. Red Deer Fire and Emergency Services were on the scene and contained the fire to one unit of the building, located south of 42nd Street.
