Archaeologists discovered the mysterious tomb while expanding a quarry in northern Scotland. The well, which is about three meters long and one meter deep, has a bottom “lined with stone slabs, with clay interspersed between the stones, perhaps to help the structure retain water,” the archaeologists said in a statement.
