Signs of consolidation are becoming apparent in the business of European transport companies: the big ones are devouring the small ones that cannot bear the cost burden, and the remaining ones are threatened with bankruptcy. However, Lithuanian carriers are not interested in small local players, and the signs cited by economists indicate that the transport crisis that has been prolonged since 2023 is turning into a slow recovery.
