According to the chemical company Evonik Insider, almost 30 percent surcharge on the share price and an overall assessment of 14 billion euros is not enough. And so the company rejects the first takeover offer of the industry giant BASF.
The chemical union warns: Larger corporations do not automatically provide security for jobs and locations. IGBCE CEO Vassilidis calls for future prospects for employees.
