Bitcoin ETF Inflows Hit $999M as BTC Briefly Tops $87K

US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted nearly $1 billion on Monday, September 21, 2026, marking their largest daily inflow in 12 months according to SoSoValue data.
Bitcoin price surged above $87,200 as CryptoQuant analyst Julio Moreno identified the asset moving above its 365-day moving average, describing it as a signal for a "new bull market."
BlackRock's IBIT led Monday's inflows with $381.4 million, followed by Ark Invest's ARKB at $289.1 million and Fidelity's FBTC at $238.8 million, contrasting with a $464 million year-to-date outflow.
Ether ETFs attracted around $270 million on Monday, their biggest 2026 daily inflow, while XRP ETFs recorded no net flows with cumulative inflows at about $1.71 billion.
Despite macro headwinds including a failed Senate cloture vote on the Clarity Act and Fed rate decisions, the inflow reads as institutional "vote of confidence" as Bitcoin's price has climbed 44% this quarter.
