- Initial support includes Bitcoin, Ether, and select stablecoins like Circle USDC, EURC, and AllUnity EUR, with plans to expand into tokenized financial instruments later.
- Spokesperson Heinrich told Cointelegraph the bank expects to receive the license under the MiCA framework in October, following the July 1 enforcement date.
- Other German banks are also offering similar solutions; Landesbank Baden-W started offering crypto custody after partnering with Austria-based Bitpanda in 2024.
