Big snow likely to stay as deep freeze persists - Hendersonville Lightning

As expected, a big snowstorm socked the N.C. mountains on Saturday, dumping 4-8 inches of dry fluffy snow across Henderson County. A winter storm warning, extreme cold warning and high winds advisory remain in effect today as blustery winds up to 38 mph could plunge wind chill as low as -9.
