A 35-year-old man was arrested in Vienna. He is alleged to have defrauded a 75-year-old woman of around 70,000 euros by impersonating a police officer.
A 35-year-old is said to have spent 70,000 euros as a police officer at the end of July, while an elderly woman took 70,000 euros. The police arrested the man on Thursday because of suspicion of serious fraud.
