Bicyclist killed after crash on Sweeney Hollow Road involving sheriff’s patrol car

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — A 39-year-old man was killed early Thursday morning after being hit by several vehicles while riding his bicycle along Sweeney Hollow Road. According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, the crash happened around 3:51 a.m. on the 3100 block of Sweeney Hollow Road.
