Bicyclist Struck, Killed by Bus in Castaic

A bicyclist was hit by a bus and killed in the Castaic area Wednesday morning, the California Highway Patrol reported. The collision happened at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at 32184 Green Hill Drive, just west of the Golden State (5) Freeway, according to the CHP. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The age and gender of the victim and details about the bus were not immediately available.
