Batesville topped Lawrenceburg 5-1 in varsity baseball Monday night at the Dawg Pound. Brayden Maple pitched six scoreless innings of two-hit baseball, striking out four and walking four to get the win. At the plate, Maple went 1-for-3 and drove in two runs. Ronan Post, Noah Weigel and Tiago Batta had two hits a piece. The Bulldogs will be back in action Tuesday afternoon at Columbus East, weather permitting. /Click here to read the varsity game
