Belair Road shut down in Overlea after construction crew hits gas line
OVERLEA, MD—Belair Road has been shut down in Overlea due to a gas leak. At around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a construction crew struck a gas line and a gas odor was reported throughout the area. Route 1 has been shut down in both directions at Chesley Avenue near the Natural History Society of Maryland. There has been no ETA on repairs. Motorists should use an alternate route.
