Early February. Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture, overlooking the Seto Ohashi Bridge to the east. Construction of container ships and car carriers was progressing at a rapid pace at the Marugame Factory, the largest factory in the Imabari Shipbuilding Group. Imabari Shipbuilding will be joining Japan Marine Yusen, the industry's second largest shipbuilder, in January 2026.
