Both occupants of the Volkswagen Jetta died at the scene, while the 16-year-old girl sustained injuries not believed to be life-threatening and was transported to hospital.
Investigators are seeking witnesses and dash-camera footage of the Kia Sedona driving between Third Street and Pine Street in Nanaimo; contact Highway Patrol at 250-954-2953 and quote file 4201.
