- Coquitlam officials evacuated eight residents by helicopter after a mudslide on Thursday, and crews will repair potholes on Highway 1 between Bridal Falls and Hope with intermittent lane closures starting Saturday.
- Environment Canada warns saturated grounds mean recovery will take time, and Simon Horton said, 'During that atmospheric river, we see lots of avalanches,' and added that 'That risk of large, natural avalanches is reduced now.
