- Chairman Otunba Abdulateef Owoyemi granted Ayinde an extra five days that lapsed on Wednesday, December 10, directing him to prove his genealogical link after the Awujale stool became vacant following Oba Sikiru Adetona's death on July 13.
- In the form he submitted, Ayinde traced his lineage to the Setejoye family unit of the Jadiara Ruling House through Adisa Adesanya Anifowoshe, but investigators said it was preassigned and certified on 8th December 2025 without the authorised signature.
