Lake Catholic vs. Avon Lake boys soccer: Cougars score late to force 2-2 draw in regional rematch

Lake Catholic and Avon Lake aren’t in the same division anymore, but that didn’t stop two of Northeast Ohio’s best teams from playing a postseason-caliber match. Trailing by a goal late, Gavyn Fredriks came through for the visiting Cougars with the equalizer with 4:14 remaining to force a 2-2 draw on Sept. 29.
