Japanese brands appeared in Europe in the 1960s and 1970s, and Korean brands in the 1990s and 2000s. They stayed for a while. The same could happen with Chinese brands, says Arkadiusz Nowiński, President of EMEA and APEC at Volvo Cars. He assures us that the future of motoring will be electric, despite the challenges.
Chinese cars have been conquering Europe and the Czech Republic in recent years. This year alone, about 16 new Chinese brands have entered our market, and some of their models are already among the best-selling cars.
