The Alliance for the Union of Romans (AUR) challenged the Constitutional Court's state budget and social security laws for the year 2026, accusing serious violations of the Constitution and an abuse procedure.
The AUR has issued two sessions of non-constitutionality with regard to both the State Budget Law and the State Social Insurance Act adopted at Parliament's joint meeting on 20 March 2026.
AUR has challenged the Constitutional Court's 2026 League of Budgets for months, calling for a ban on the entry into force of legislation "underpinned and imposed by a government which legislates against its citizens".
