On Wednesday last week a training flight over the Attersee ended in a tragedy. After a loud bang, the two-seat machine crashed into the lake from about one and a half kilometers altitude. Only five days after the accident, the wreck with the bodies could be recovered on board. Now there is an autopsy result.
New autopsy result after the tragedy at Lake Attersee: The 24-year-old flight instructor and his 19-year-old flight student did not die as a result of drowning. According to the coroner's doctor, the two inmates died in the crash immediately after impacting the water.
STEINBACH/WELS. According to the M.E., the flight instructor (24) and his 19-year-old flight student did not drown. They were killed by the impact on the water surface.
