Drenching rain triggers Fraser Valley state of emergency, and memories of 2021 floods
Heavy rains and snowmelt driven by atmospheric rivers raised flood risks in the Fraser Valley, with evacuation orders issued and peak Nooksack River flows expected Wednesday night, officials said.
