The 2nd Asian Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Championships were held from the 6th to the 8th at the Kumihama Bay Canoe Stadium in Kyoto Prefecture. In the men's competition, Yorai Taguchi (22) of Ocean Boy, Nakijin Village, took first place in both the technical (1km) race with a time of 4 minutes 48.630 seconds and the distance (6km) race with a time of 34 minutes 5.323 seconds, achieving a double victory.
