On the second anniversary of the fall of Gal Eisenkot, the youngest son of former Minister and Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot, a memorial service was held at the military cemetery in Herzliya, where he is buried. The former Chief of Staff began his remarks with words of longing for his son: "I miss Gal." Eisenkot referred to the released hostages: "They returned thanks to the fighters and the great sacrifice"
