The International Astronomical Union (IAU) has officially named an asteroid between Mars and Jupiter Dankobosanac, in honor of the late Croatian physicist Slobodan Danko Bosanac, who was the founder and first president of the Croatian Adriatic Aerospace Association - A3. Ante Radonić from A3 described the news as historic for Croatian science.
The association emphasizes that this is a significant and lasting recognition of Bosnian, but also Croatian science.
